To report an issue, please contact the City at the following information:

Public Works and Engineering

s.avery@city.iqaluit.nu.ca

979-5630 8 AM – 4 PM, Monday to Friday

For after hour urgent issues contact City Dispatch at 979-5650.

For residents living in Iqaluit Public Housing, please contact your landlord for assistance.

In the event of any water interruption residents may wish to shut off their water circulation pumps, however it is extremely important to ensure the pump is turned back on once the water is reinstated. Residents may also wish to turn on their heat traces to prevent freezing to their service lines.

Residents can also prepare for unplanned water disruptions by storing water in containers in a cool dark place and keeping spare water jugs on hand.

The City thanks you for your understanding and cooperation.
